New XC Training Cycle Starts This Week

For those athletes that ran and trained through the Spring you will now come off your “active rest” period. It is now time to start building your mileage up to prepare for XC season! For those athletes that did not run during the Spring, it’s time to get started. The key is to build up your mileage so you hit your “peak” mileage weeks between mid July and mid August.
I am creating a google spreadsheet for you to log your mileage this summer. In addition, please use a GPS running watch if you have one and use the Strava app to record your runs and mileage. Summer training information will be coming out soon. In addition, the Captains will be organizing runs during the Summer – information forthcoming.
